Review date: 2007-07-06 Rating: 10 out of 10 Overall it's pretty durable and a lot fun. Definently worth buying and the overall result is very satisfying. My biggest complaint would be that some of the pieces are really small, making it easy to confuse them with the 'throw away' pieces. (Don't throw anything away until you have finished it!!) A Gondola-full of Pieces! Review date: 2007-01-13 Rating: 8 out of 10 We are major fans of the 3-D puzzle series. If you've done the Eiffel Tower or the White House ones you know how complex they can be. (But hey, that's why we love them in the first place, isn't it?) Well, 3-D Venice is unbelievably involved and certainly not for the faint of heart. I think it's the most complicated one yet. No child under the age of, say, 11 or 12, would have the organization skills to just get the piles in place at the beginning. Also, for the older person with finger mobility issues or failing eyesight, this would be an impossible puzzle. But, if you are having a particularly snowy winter and are inside alot, then this is for you! Just don't be a newbie to the series. Start with the Eiffel Tower and the graduate to Venice. Once our puzzle of Venice is completed I'll let you know how it compares to the real place, a touch of paradise on Earth. ;-) |
